Now my DF head is brighter than the X300u. The Sure-Fire Z61 Click-On Lock-Out Hard Anodized Black Tailcap is only compatible with the E1E, E1L, E2D, E2E, E2L, and E2O flashlights. Swapped the original DF head back on, same thing it seemed brighter. Lock-out feature of Sure-Fire Z57 Click On Lock Out Tailcap prevents accidental activation of light during tactical operations, transportation, or storage. I took the switch off and put the original click tail cap back on, and noticed the output was brighter. Precision machined aerospace-grade aluminum construction, hard anodized in Olive Drab. Thread the Momentary Tailcap onto the light body until the light activates. I got it out yesterday, but immediately noticed that the tailcap clicky button was frozen rock solid. Push lightly on SureFire Click-on Lock-out Tailcap Z57 for momentary activation, push harder to "click" the Flashlight Accessories into constant-on mode, click again for off. This clicky tailcap switch is compatible with Modlite 18650/18350, SureFire E-Series, and Arisaka M300/M600 light bodies. Under stress, there's no need to worry about accidentally pressing the switch too far and clicking on the light (like with a Surefire Z68 or Arisaka Clicky Tailcap). Now you have a choice of momentary or constant-on light activation without having to rotate the tailcap of your SureFire flashlight.
